Cons\u00e9quence de l\u2019organisation de cette manifestation anti-bassines \u00e0 La Rochelle, le maire Jean-Fran\u00e7ois Fountaine a pris des mesures pr\u00e9ventives face au risque de trouble \u00e0 l\u2019ordre public. Hier, suite \u00e0 une r\u00e9union d\u2019urgence avec les commer\u00e7ants, il a annonc\u00e9 le report d\u2019une semaine de la braderie qui \u00e9tait pr\u00e9vue ce week-end, et l\u2019annulation du march\u00e9 aux puces. L\u2019\u00e9lu redoute en effet un risque de d\u00e9bordements jusqu\u2019en ville. Il condamne fermement toutes actions violentes.
