Une enqu\u00eate a \u00e9t\u00e9 ouverte apr\u00e8s le drame survenu samedi matin \u00e0 Cabariot, pr\u00e8s de Tonnay-Charente. Un homme de 65 ans a \u00e9t\u00e9 percut\u00e9 par un train aux alentours de 10h15, \u00e0 hauteur d\u2019un passage \u00e0 niveau. Le trafic SNCF a \u00e9t\u00e9 interrompu pendant plusieurs heures dans les deux sens, entre Saintes et La Rochelle. Les 250 passagers ont \u00e9t\u00e9 pris en charge, notamment en bus.
